Computing Homework
In years 7-9 all students are enrolled on an international awards program called The Inspiring Digital Enterprise Award, known as iDEA that helps them develop digital, enterprise and employability skills for free.
The Computing & Business faculty use this awards program as part of their homework offer to students. The faculty have highlighted a range of online challenges/badges which students should complete each week to further their learning of topics covered in school and allow them to learn content which will help them thrive in the digital world. Students ultimately, gain industry-recognised Awards at the end of year 8 (Bronze) and then year 9 (Silver).
If any student experiences difficulty with completing one of the activities or logging in to the website they should initially email their Computing teacher who will be able to offer support. We also run an iDEA lunchtime club every Tuesday in CO3 where students can go and get support with anything related to the awards program.
