Year 6 transition

We are delighted that you have either chosen to join us, or that you are thinking of Biddick Academy for the next stage in your child’s educational journey. Moving from primary to secondary school is an exciting but somewhat daunting experience for both students and parents alike. Here at Biddick Academy we recognise what a big step it is and are therefore committed to delivering a transition programme that provides creative and enjoyable opportunities for all.

Biddick Academy has a dedicated transition team who will work with and support all prospective and new Year 7 students, ensuring their transition is as smooth as possible. We have developed a comprehensive transition programme that will help your child to become more familiar with our school, make new friends and prepare for the exciting opportunities still to come.
