Anti-Bullying Ambassadors

A group of students took part in training in Middlesbrough to become an Anti-Bullying Ambassador at Biddick Academy.
Students were trained to identify bullying behaviour and how to support situations that arise within school and online.
From September, students will work closely with staff to raise awareness of bullying related issues and promoting Anti-bullying strategies further across the Academy. The training enables Ambassadors to lead the way in supporting other students to know how to report bullying and supports the mission of the school to further embed a culture of kindness and respect.
Mental Health remains a top priority of the school so empowering young people to take a stand against bullying behaviour has never felt more important.
tudents received specialist training on how to be an Anti-Bullying Student Ambassador and gained recognition for this training through the Diana Awards Scheme which is supported by HRH The Duke of Cambridge.
The Anti-Bullying Ambassadors were a true credit to the school, engaging with the tasks set and being enthusiastic to share their ideas with other schools. Students are excited to be taking part and in embracing the challenge ahead from September.
