As the world faced unprecedented times and constant challenges, our Year 11 students continually showed determination and resilience to overcome the barriers caused by the pandemic in order to ensure that they achieved their potential at this crucial time in their education. We are extremely proud of the mature way in which students approached their studies. Their superb work ethic, perseverance and desire to succeed has been reflected in excellent grades, with some outstanding individual performances.
76% of students achieved at least a grade 4 in both English and maths, with 58% of students achieving at least a grade 5 in both subjects. Furthermore, we have seen an increase in the number of students achieving the Ebacc measure, with 25% of students achieving at least a grade 4 in this combination of subjects and particularly strong attainment in MFL and computer science. Pupils achieved highly in a number of subjects including chemistry, physics, dance, fine art and music. These fantastic results are a testament to our students’ hard work and determination to succeed and will provide them with an excellent foundation as they move to the next stage in their education.
