Girls Year 8 Football Team

The Year 8 girls football team played in the District 6-a-side Football competition recently.

They were unbeaten in the group stage and made it through to the semi-final against Park View.  This ended 0-0 and went to penalties.  It was all very tense when they all ended up taken a penalty, as it went to sudden death………they won!

We saw some brave defending and amazing goal keeping and an amazing effort and attitude from all.
